Materials:  Approx. 3 oz. Light worsted weight yarn.  Size 6 to 8 16” circular needle and matching double points, and a stitch marker

Gauge: 4 to 4.5  sts to 1”

Cast on (70) child, 80 adult, (90) large adult  stitches and join being careful not to twist  stitches. Place Marker

Knit  1 row, then purl 1 row

Pattern Rows

1. *YO, K3, Sl 1, K2 tog, PSSO, K3, YO, K1* repeat  around

2, 4,6,8. Knit

3. *K1, YO, K2, Sl 1, K2 tog, PSSO, K2, YO, K2* repeat  around                                     

5. *K2, YO, K1, Sl 1, K2 tog, PSSO, K1, YO, K3* repeat

7. *K3, YO, Sl 1, K2 tog, PSSO, YO, K4* repeat

Repeat Rows 1-8  4 more times.

Begin Top Decreases:

1. Knit 8, K2 tog, repeat around

2. K7, K2 tog around

3. K6, K 2 tog around

4. K5, K 2 tog around

5. K4, K2 tog around

6. K3, K 2 tog around

7. K2, K2 tog around

8. K1, K 2tog around

9. K 2 tog around

Break of yarn leaving a 12” tail. Run yarn through remaining stitches , tie off and weave in ends.
