One Skein Swap
Mood:  chatty
Topic: Knitting

This is a picture of the gal I knit for during the One Skein Swap project that Interweave Press sponsored.  I knit Bernadette a felted knitting bag, lined it with matching fabric and added a few knitting goodies for making a pair of socks. Bernadette is a fantastic knitter (I browsed through her blog) so I'm sure she'll make great socks with the yarn I included.  I loved that swap project and sure had fun participating.

Hey, Cathi!  You need to enter some of your knitting in the Lawrence County Fair. There were way more projects entered than at Columbiana County and none were as good as your socks.

The girls had a great time at the fair and even got to help take Crystal's (our future daughter in law) cows to the milking parlor and help get them in line for milking!!  You should have seen "Miss Priss" Beth with all the muck and mess!!   I'm so proud of Ben for all his hard work with Crystal. For a kid who never had much to do with any of our farm animals, he's become quite the farm boy and really supports Crystal! She's one amazing girl and I'm so glad God blessed us with her becoming a part of our family. Sure wish I'd have taken along a camera, a picture of the girls leading cows would have been priceless!!
