Materials: Approximately 6 oz. Worsted weight yarn

Size 6 to 8 needles

Gauge: 4  to 4.5 sts to 1”

Cast on 24 sts

Knit 4 rows even.

Row 1: K2, *YO, K3, Sl 1, K2 tog, PSSO, K3, YO, K1*  repeat 1 more time, end K2

Row 2, 4, 6, 8: K2, Purl across ending, K2

Row 3: K2, *K1, YO, K2, Sl 1, K2 tog, PSSO, K2, YO, K2* repeat  , end K 2

Row 5: K2, *K2, YO, K1, Sl 1, K2 tog, PSSO, K1, YO, K3* repeat, K2

Row 7: K2, *K3, YO, Sl 1, K2 tog, PSSO, YO, K4* repeat, K2

Repeat rows 1-8 until desired length.

End by knitting 4 rows even. Weave in ends and block if desired. You can make a thinner scarf by casting on 14 stitches and working only one pattern repeat per row.
